The Bangladesh Divide Casting Uncertainty Over Tarique Rahman's India Visit

Tarique Rahman’s planned India visit for August was cancelled unexpectedly. Bangladesh now demands Sheikh Hasina’s extradition as a condition for the trip. Nahid Islam said, "there should be no move towards normal diplomatic relations with India until the extradition issue is resolved." Internal divisions in Dhaka have left the visit in limbo.
