Supreme Court may form special bench on OBC quota rules for civil services exam

The Supreme Court on Tuesday agreed to consider forming a special bench regarding OBC creamy-layer rules for the Civil Services Examination 2025. The Centre wants to allocate services to 958 candidates using old rules. Chief Justice Surya Kant said, “We will have to set up a special bench,” after consultations.
