Congress questions Modi's space push: Why 'strangle and emasculate' ISRO to back private startups?

Congress on Monday slammed the Modi government for its aggressive privatisation agenda for the space programme. Jairam Ramesh asked why ISRO should be "strangulated and emasculated" to back private startups. He claimed the government plans to transfer satellite assets to private firms and limit ISRO’s role in rocket development and manufacture.
