Centre gives in-principle nod to lease -out 11 AAI airports in five bundles

The Centre gave in-principle approval to lease 11 Airports Authority of India airports in five bundles. The Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee cleared this plan on August 4. This move aims to bring private participation into airport operations. Officials said the model pairs larger and smaller airports to improve long-term sustainability.
