Trees are vital for cooler cities, but they need help too

Record-breaking heat and drought are putting urban trees at risk. These plants act like giant air conditioners, cooling cities and improving health. Nina Bassuk of Cornell University said, "When trees go away, those things go away as well." Experts now want to save them to keep our cities livable.
