Gold and silver price today, August 24: Check rates of 24K, 22K gold in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata other cities

Gold prices traded higher on August 24 as a weaker dollar boosted demand. COMEX gold futures rose 0.47 percent to $4,702.70 per ounce, while silver fell 0.69 percent to $69.05. Domestic MCX futures for October closed flat at Rs 1,62,440 per 10 grams. Future rates will depend on global economic data.
