UN launches hunt for next chief amid rising challenges

The United Nations started its search for a new secretary-general as the institution faces many global challenges. A first informal Security Council poll on Thursday showed Rebeca Grynspan as the early frontrunner. The process to replace Antonio Guterres could continue through the summer and conclude in late September or October.
