Myanmar Pushes Back Against Regional Demands for Re-Integration

Min Aung Hlaing said the military-backed government will try to improve ties with Asean through a Myanmar-led process. The leader signaled his isolated country is in no rush to follow regional demands for re-integration. He wants to follow an independent foreign policy, showing that many changes will not happen soon.
