German Authorities Knew of Pride Attacker's Extremism

German authorities knew Abdul Rahman Toufiq Ballout was an extremist before he attacked a Berlin Pride celebration on Saturday. He killed one woman and injured 29 people. Chancellor Friedrich Merz said, "We must answer how it was possible for a man classified in this way here to go unhindered."
