Senator John Cornyn is using his leverage to block Todd Blanche, President Trump’s choice for attorney general. Cornyn and Senator Thom Tillis said they will not advance the nomination unless the Justice Department modifies an immunity settlement. When asked about his new independence, Cornyn simply asked reporters, "Have you noticed?"
