Rockstar AI expert Devendra Chaplot was working at xAI, now Sarvam steals him from Elon Musk

Indian AI startup Sarvam hired researcher Devendra Singh Chaplot from Elon Musk’s xAI. Chaplot, an IIT Bombay alumnus, previously worked at Mistral and Thinking Machine Labs. He said, "You need a handful of experts and experienced people but we need more of motivated talent." He will lead from their new lab.
