Protest takedowns lawful, eyes more teeth for digi user rights: IT Secy

IT secretary S Krishnan said the government acted within the law during recent social media takedowns after the Jantar Mantar protest. He said the Centre is now looking for ways to give more teeth to individuals against online harms. India also aims to be strategically autonomous in the AI race.
