Arattai adds Aadhaar-linked green tick feature, Zoho says it will curb fake accounts

Zoho-owned messaging platform Arattai introduced an optional Aadhaar-based identity verification feature to curb fake accounts. Users get a green badge after verification. Jeri John said, "The consumer messaging landscape faces a severe crisis of trust." The app also added encrypted chat backups and new privacy tools for better user security.
