Seven weather systems now steer India's monsoon, and floods, heavy rain to follow soon

Seven weather systems are currently steering India’s monsoon, causing heavy rain and floods. The India Meteorological Department said the Somali Jet and a deep depression are working together like gears in a machine. This rare convergence started after a system moved over the West Bengal and Odisha coasts on July 27.
