New report highlights health of the UK's plankton communities

Researchers from the University of Plymouth led a new report on how climate change impacts marine plankton in UK waters. The study showed large-scale shifts in these communities. Lead author Dr Matthew Holland said, "Plankton form the foundation of marine food webs, supporting fisheries and playing a fundamental role."
