India's newest private physics institute hinges success on 'less is more'

The Lodha Theoretical Physics Institute started in India to focus purely on theoretical physics research. Founding director Jainendra K. Jain said, "There will be no caps on travel or group size, no teaching load, no committee paperwork." This private institute will stay small and avoid the bureaucracy of public science.
