Government admits NavIC not working: Why it needs at least 4 satellites to function

The government told the Lok Sabha that India’s NavIC system cannot provide standalone positioning services right now. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said only three satellites are currently operational. NavIC needs at least four satellites in orbit to determine a user's exact location, as the system currently lacks enough coverage.
