Asynchronous multi-photon interference for quantum networks

Researchers analyzed asynchronous multi-photon interference to improve entanglement swapping for global quantum networks. The study focused on temporal indistinguishability of photons in the CW regime. Experts used four-photon detection events to show how photons behave at a beam splitter. This work helps build better repeaters for future quantum communication systems.
