83% Gen Z say social media likes decide their happiness, real life feels lonely

A recent study of 141 female students showed 82.9% of Gen Z feel their happiness depends on social media likes. Dr Jyoti Sidana said, "Virtual relationships cannot offer the same comfort during difficult times as real-life connections." Many students now feel lonely in real life despite having thousands of online followers.
