One nation, one metro card: In Rajya Sabha, BJP MP Surendra Nagar makes case for smarter travel

BJP MP Surendra Singh Nagar on Thursday urged the Centre to launch a single digital metro card for all Indian cities. He said the current system causes hardship and plastic waste. Nagar suggested a mobile-linked account to replace physical cards, noting, "The balance would stay with the person instead."
