One Nation, One Election Bill delayed till Winter Session, panel gets more time

The One Nation, One Election Bill will not be taken up during the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament. On Wednesday, the Lok Sabha gave the Joint Parliamentary Committee more time to finish its report. The panel now has until the Winter Session to study the plan for holding simultaneous polls.
