Nearly 45 lakh voters removed from Andhra draft electoral roll after revision

The Election Commission of India published Andhra Pradesh’s draft electoral roll on Friday after a special revision. Officials said 44.89 lakh names got removed during the process. Many people shifted residence, passed away, or had duplicate entries. The exercise, held between 15th June and 24th July, verified millions of state voters.
