Meghalaya flags 1.8 lakh ASDD voters; J'khand leaves 43.68 lakh forms uncollected

The Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls ended in Meghalaya and Jharkhand on 29 July. Meghalaya identified 1.8 lakh ASDD voters after house-to-house checks. Meanwhile, 43.68 lakh forms stayed uncollected in Jharkhand. Officials said they will now verify these categories before the draft electoral roll gets published on 5 August.
