In Lok Sabha, Centre backs E20, says no proof of adverse impacts

The Centre told the Lok Sabha that over 200 million two-wheelers and 30 million cars have used E20 fuel for two-and-a-half years without engine damage. Officials said the programme saved ₹1.98 lakh crore in foreign exchange and helped farmers earn more, while lab studies showed no bad impact on vehicle performance.
