IIT alumnus Jagdish Aphale appointed secretary of Ayodhya Ram Temple trust

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust appointed IIT alumnus Jagdish Aphale as secretary to manage daily temple operations. Sources said the appointment gets formal approval at the executive meeting on September 2, 2026. Aphale, a Pune resident, previously worked as the honorary project manager after the 2019 Supreme Court ruling.
