Escalating Unrest in PoJK Draws Strong Reactions from J&K Leadership

Political leaders in Jammu and Kashmir expressed alarm over the unrest in PoJK. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Thursday that reports of brute force against protesters were deeply troubling. The BJP claimed that more than 30 protesters got killed within 48 hours by firing by Pakistani soldiers in the region.
