Delhi government says no legal action against NEET protesters

The Delhi government said on Thursday (July 30, 2026) that no legal action will be taken against NEET protesters. Officials said the process to release arrested people would be done quickly. However, the order said, “The protection, however, shall not extend to persons having criminal antecedents,” as per Supreme Court.
