TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee moves Supreme Court seeking permission to travel abroad for eye treatment

TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee moved the Supreme Court challenging a Calcutta High Court order that refused him permission to travel abroad for eye treatment. The High Court had earlier directed him to cooperate with an ongoing probe. Justice Saugata Bhattacharyya suggested he visit a state-run hospital for his medical needs.
