Supreme Court vindication of Manmohan Singh should initiate reform of criminal justice system: Ashwani Kumar

The Supreme Court cleared former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a criminal case on July 30, 2026. Ashwani Kumar said the process became a punishment for him. He added, “The prosecutorial process was itself a punishment, the stark cruelty of which is now apparent.” This verdict should now start legal reforms.
