SC grants anticipatory bail to ex-Tamil Nadu minister Balaji in corruption case

The Supreme Court granted anticipatory bail to former Tamil Nadu minister Balaji on Thursday in a corruption case. The court said, “This man is not going to jump the investigation.” Balaji must cooperate with the probe and keep his passport surrendered. The state government opposed this relief during the court hearing.
