Japan Earthquake: Rescuers Search for Survivors as Death Toll Rises to 18

Rescuers searched for survivors in Kumamoto, Japan, on Wednesday after a magnitude 7.1 earthquake killed 18 people. The quake left 62 people injured and caused a mall to collapse. Aeon President Akio Yoshida said, “We take it seriously that an explosion happened and precious lives were lost.” Many remain missing.
