US inflation slows in June, but reversal likely amid Middle East conflict

U.S. inflation slowed in June as the Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index rose 3.7 percent annually. The Commerce Department said this easing might be temporary because oil prices rose after a ceasefire fell apart. Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh said, "there is no soft inflation target, not on this committee's watch."
