Government to ensure social security for gig workers via labour codes implementation: Mandaviya

Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Thursday that the government will ensure social security for gig workers by implementing labour codes. He noted that 80 lakh gig workers exist in India. "I want to assure the House that social security of gig workers will be ensured," he said.
