Montana removed more than three million tons of contaminated sediment and dismantled the dam that trapped it. The EPA said the cleanup restored the Clark Fork and Blackfoot rivers after decades of mining waste. Now, the former Superfund site got a new life as a 500-acre state park for everyone.
