Exide, Amara Raja, Waaree likely bidders in 10GWh grid-scale energy storage tender

Exide Industries, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, and Waaree Group are likely bidders for the government’s 10 GWh grid-scale energy storage tender. The tender, floated on 15 July, aims to boost battery manufacturing. Bidding closes on 13 October 2026. Many companies showed interest during the pre-bid conference held on 29 July.
