Cabinet Extends PM-KISAN Scheme till 2030-31 with Rs 3.15 lakh crore outlay

The Union Cabinet on Friday approved the continuation of the PM-KISAN scheme from 2026-27 to 2030-31 with a Rs 3.15 lakh crore outlay. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the decision reflects the government's belief that "the prosperity of farmers forms the foundation of the nation's prosperity." This ensures continued income support.
