OpenAI’s annualised recurring revenue in July exceeded the level recorded during the second quarter. Board chair Bret Taylor said the growth followed the launch of GPT-5.6 models and ChatGPT Work. The company now seeks more revenue to support massive AI infrastructure investments while facing stiff competition from rivals like Anthropic.
