Trail Blazers, city of Portland finally meet, but distance between sides remains 'significant'

The Portland Trail Blazers and the city of Portland met Thursday to discuss $573 million in public funding for arena improvements. City council president Jamie Dunphy said, "I think the distance between the Blazers and the city is pretty significant." The council will vote on the term sheet August 12.
