DOJ Seeks to Use Court to Deport Mother of Convicted ISIS Supporter

The Justice Department asked a federal judge on Thursday to deport Nazira Haji Zada, an Afghan woman accused of supporting ISIS. Prosecutors said she helped a plot to attack voters on Election Day 2024. Acting attorney general Todd Blanche said the case shows a family aiding a mass casualty attack.
