Beekeepers in 'crisis' call for increased access to organic varroa mite treatments

Beekeepers in South Australia are pleading for increased access to organic treatments for varroa mite. First discovered in September 2025, the parasite threatens honey bees across the region. Beekeeper Ian Cass said, "We can make it for a fraction of the price of what we've got to buy it for."
