Private e-scooters used to save time and money on commutes, study finds

A study by the Planning and Transport Research Centre found that private e-scooter owners in Perth use them to save time and money on commutes. Surveyed between April and May 2025, many riders were older than expected. Dr Tristan Reed said, "It's not just young people who are using these."
