Fgfr3-Wnt signaling crosstalk is involved in maintaining cranial suture integrity - Bone Research
Researchers studied how Fgfr3-Wnt signaling maintains cranial suture integrity in zebrafish. They found that Fgfr3 loss disrupts suture formation and bone organization. By using the inhibitor XAV939, the team got a partial rescue of these defects. This study showed that Fgfr3 is essential for proper bone growth and suture homeostasis.
