Cloning technique could save rare Queen of Sheba flower from brink of extinction

Scientists saved the rare Western Australian Queen of Sheba orchid from extinction using a new cloning technique. Digby Growns said, "We've now got over a thousand plants from that single seed." This breakthrough helps researchers grow robust flowers faster. These plants will eventually return to the wild to boost their numbers.
