Tony Burke rubbishes One Nation plan

Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said on July 30, 2026, that One Nation’s plan to block citizens with terror links from returning would fail in the High Court. Burke said, “something like what’s being proposed here would last about 30 seconds in the High Court.” He warned it sets dangerous precedents.
