How much it could cost to repair Victoria's crumbling regional roads

Six south-west Victorian councils say fixing local and state roads could cost over $500 million. Labor allocated $1.04 billion for roads, while the Coalition promised $5 billion over four years. Colac Otway Shire chief executive Andrew Tenni said, "Collectively, a total amount of around $40 million would be required."
