Organised campaigns against wind and solar energy have proved “extremely effective” in undermining community support for renewable energy. Rebecca Huntley said, “All that these campaigns need to do is create the perception that other people think windfarms are a bad idea.” Many Australians now underestimate how much electricity comes from renewables.
