As eSafety takes Telegram to court, Russia moves against the man behind the app

Australia’s eSafety Commissioner started legal action against Telegram on Thursday for failing to remove terrorist content. Russia also charged founder Pavel Durov with aiding Ukrainian spies. Julie Inman Grant said, "When platforms are alerted to terrorist content, they must act." The app now faces potential fines for hosting harmful material.
