Breaking: Deadly H5N1 bird flu strain detected in Victoria for the first time

The deadly H5N1 bird flu strain reached Victoria after a positive test in a greater crested tern near Portland. Agriculture Victoria confirmed the virus, which has spread across the southern coast through migratory birds. Cases also appeared in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland since June.
