A Senate panel advanced Todd Blanche’s nomination for attorney-general on Tuesday. Blanche, who represented Donald Trump in three criminal cases, now leads the Department of Justice. When asked about his relationship with the president, Blanche said, "I'm his lawyer," before quickly correcting to say "was his lawyer" during his hearing.
