Brazil’s Lula launches fourth-term bid, focuses on national sovereignty

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva formally launched his campaign for a fourth term on Sunday. Speaking in Sao Paulo, the 80-year-old politician promised to protect Brazil’s mineral wealth from foreign control. “I want to be prepared, so that no one invades this country,” Lula said to his supporters.
